Connecting the students with a larger sphere of knowledge through Faculty Exchange Programmes (under MoUs/Academic Linkages), providing them with e-learning facilities, indoor games and inspiring them through outreach programmes to promote social responsibility have been part of quality initiatives for the learners.

Keeping its focus on the continuous professional development of the faculty members, apart from Career Advancement, the IQAC has adopted as its best practices, the policy of fortifying the area of academic research and development through publications in journals and edited volumes, attending and presenting research papers in seminars and conferences, delivering invited lectures, receiving patents, supervising PhD scholars, developing e-modules and self-learning materials for a wider array of students learning through SWAYAM and open universities, and publishing an edited volume to incorporate and assimilate the critical thinking of all our faculty members.

The library has undergone automation through the SOUL software. Apart from books, journals and newspapers , it hosts a rare collection of publications and paintings. Keeping in mind the suggestion of the IQAC for the students’ upgradation, the reading section has been equipped with computer s with internet connection.

The office works and services have been computerised and whereas the office management runs through CAMS software, college, Burdwan University and the Government portals are used for admission, examination and the administrative works respectively.
