Swot Analysis:
- The department's faculty is close-knit, devoted, and hardworking; in addition to being competitive trainers, they have a close bond with their students.
- The teachers are always accessible to the students outside of the conventional classroom setting.
- Faculty members schedule extra classes for students who struggle to understand the material being covered in class.
- The faculty members provide all students with academic guidance for their future in further education and career.
- The department has not offered any subject specific certificate course.
- Fewer chances to receive funding for research.
- Very few collaborations for activities with outside colleges.
- Extra classes can be organized for various students who want to study more of the advanced subjects which will prepare them better for further studies.
- Use positive reinforcement to encourage pupils and create a culture where pupils find Maths fun and challenging.
- Exploring blended as well as online learning in addition to traditional classroom teaching.
- Offering certificate programmes to increase capacity for preparing for government exams.
- Language barrier; Weak in Maths Vocabulary
- To increase students strength in the department of Mathematics
- To remove phobia about subject and to create interest among the student learn fundamental concepts of Mathematics with joy.
Future Plans:
In view of the above the department decides the following Action Plan:
- Department to strive for training to build professional competencies for facilitating computer-aided teaching.
- Building study materials for students to help them in SSC and other jobs.
- To undertake initiatives for helping students in horizontal and vertical progression.
