With an aim of ascertaining and maintaining quality education as well as an all-round development of the students, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell of Kabi Sukanta Mahavidyalaya started its journey on 05/03/2006. Since its inception the Cell (IQAC) has been dedicated to promoting an atmosphere in the college where education can be imparted to all the section of students, notwithstanding class, caste or religion. Although the institution is situated in an economically underdeveloped area and has a considerable section of first generation learners as its students, the IQAC has taken initiatives under the supervision of the college authority, to enlarge the campus infrastructure like-

2. Library,
3. Computer Centre,
4. Seminar Hall,
5. Common Room,
6. Purified Drinking Water,
7. Green Campus,
8. E Learning Centre,
9. Smart Class Rooms etc.

Providing Career Oriented Courses and Remedial Coaching for the backward students, under UGC Merger Scheme have also been organized. IQAC has constantly encouraged the teachers for their professional developments as well as to organize Seminars and Conferences of varied level and on various subjects. The college has been assessed and accredited twice by NAAC.

Currently, under the competent authority of the Principal, Dr Md Salauddin Khan, who is the Chairperson of IQAC, the Cell consists of eight teacher-members and is coordinated by Dr Indrajit Chattopadhyay. Representatives of the local community Mr Pralay Chakrabarty, ( Chairperson, Bhadreswar Municipality), Mr Tulsi Das (Accountant), Mr Asim Kr Das, (President , Governing Body, Stakeholder), senior external expert Dr Prajjwal Dutta ( Ex-DREO, WBES, Gr.-A), Mr. Dilip Sabui (Industrialist) are also part of the body.
