The Department of English, Kabi Sukanta Mahavidyalaya, in association with the IQAC organized a One Day National Webinar on 30th July 2020. The topic of the webinar was “The Renaissance: Cross-Cultural Perspectives”. Prof Amrit Sen from Visva-Bharati and Prof Pinaki Roy from Raiganj University joined the webinar as resource persons.

Amid the pandemic situation, academic engagement such as this exuded considerable enthusiasm. As many as 342 participants which included teachers, students, scholars across disciplines joined the programme. The Principal of Kabi Sukanta Mahavidyalaya graced the occasion with his presence. Coordinator of the IQAC Dr Indrajit Chattopadhyay offered the welcome note which was followed by an invigorating session of discussion and dialogue. Symposium such as this undoubtedly added to the academic glory of the institution.
